NASHVILLE, TN (July 24, 2020) – Hard-rocking country singer-songwriter Brantley Gilbert received the Pandora Billionaire Plaque honoring his achievement of surpassing 3.5 billion streams on the platform during a Zoom of SiriusXM’s Music Row Happy Hour with Buzz Brainard on The Highway (ch. 56).
“I really do appreciate all of you,” Gilbert shared via Zoom. “All of ya’ll have been really, really good to me. I couldn’t ask for a better team or a better family. I’m floored. I had absolutely no idea. I don’t get surprised, so this is amazing. We’re surrounded by a bunch of awesome folks, and all of you that are watching here tonight as a part of this happy hour, I appreciate ya’ll letting me hang out and be a part of it to share in this.”
Last month, Gilbert delivered new single “Hard Days,” a “rough around the edges” and “stirring ballad” that “narrates the good and the bad of hardship, hope, and healing,” shares American Songwriter.
“Hard Days” follows lead track “Fire’t Up,” from Gilbert’s most recent album Fire & Brimstone (via The Valory Music Co.) released Oct. 4, 2019, and recent No. 1 “What Happens In A Small Town” with Lindsay Ell, which marked the Maysville, Georgia native’s seventh No. 1.
