98KUPD and Musically Fed Team Up with Local Partners on “Adopt a Roadie” Campaign

98KUPD is excited to announce their “Adopt A Roadie” promotion that will include food drives throughout the rest of February and March at select Safeway and Albertsons locations, as well as a drive-through distribution to support Musically Fed in its mission to provide food and essentials to local live music and event workers that are in dire need. Partners include #DrinkInAZ, Jack Daniels, Sweet James and Safeway/Albertsons Nourishing Neighbors Community Relief.

The food collection campaign will span six weeks from February 15th through March 26th and will culminate in a drive-through distribution event at the end of March hosted by Rhino Staging and Video West. 98 families with members who are the stagehands, audio and visual techs, riggers, and forklift drivers who make your favorite live events possible will have the opportunity to receive boxes filled with dry goods collected during the campaign, as well as produce and protein provided by Resurrection Street Ministry. Financial support from Nourishing Neighbors Community Relief will make it possible to provide the food for all 98 of these families. With an average of 6 people in a family, this will provide meals for approximately 600 people. Complete details can be heard weekdays on-air with Fitz from 2pm-7pm or by visiting https://98kupd.com/adopt-a-roadie/.

Collections will be held from 4:30pm – 6pm at the following Safeway/Albertsons locations:
